Showed this to a friend of mine. His response:

"False. The vast majority of people are complete idiots who just sit at home watching Honey Boo Boo all day."

Interesting. I wonder if a movie could be made out of the concept of showing just a tiny snapshot of a small subset of an entire city - showing what each citizen is going through. Not the traditional north American plot of man vs. something, but more the Japanese style of making things interesting by showing one item, then another, then the contrast between the two.

I veer towards solipsism.

Solipsism (

Kinja'd!!!

i / s l p s z m / ; from Latin solus , meaning "alone", and ipse , meaning "self") is the philosophical idea that only one's own mind is sure to exist. As an epistemological position, solipsism holds that knowledge of anything outside one's own mind is unsure. The external world and other minds cannot be known, and might not exist outside the mind. As a metaphysical position, solipsism goes further to the conclusion that the world and other minds do not exist. As such it is the only epistemological position that, by its own postulate , is both irrefutable and yet indefensible in the same manner.
